Generic Semaglutide 0.25 carries a boxed warning regarding the risk of thyroid C-cell tumors, including MTC. It is unknown if this medication causes thyroid C-cell tumors, including MTC, in humans. Other serious warnings include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems (cholelithiasis, cholecystitis), acute kidney injury, increased heart rate, and suicidal behavior and ideation. Inform your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any severe or unusual symptoms.
Contraindications
Generic Semaglutide 0.25 should not be used if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or in patients with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). It is also contraindicated in patients with a prior serious hypersensitivity reaction to semaglutide or any components of the product. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Common Side Effects
